Quality Lead
Owning and driving the NCR process, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation
The role
We primarily operate in aerospace and defense-focused markets where reliability and compliance are critical. As Quality Lead, you safeguard product and process quality from development through industrialization to small-series production and delivery. In this role, you operate at the intersection of Production, Engineering, and Operations.
Your key activities include:
- Own and drive the NCR process, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.;
- Prepare and guide internal and external audits (ISO 9001 and customer audits);
- Define and maintain acceptance criteria, release procedures, and batch records;
- Participate in development projects to review manufacturability, compliance risks, and production readiness;
- Strengthen and professionalize our QMS, documentation control, and engineering practices;
- Drive structural process improvements and reduce recurring quality issues.
You
- Like the dynamics of a small- fast-moving and rapidly changing company;

- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have 5-10 years of experience in quality roles in high-tech or precision manufacturing environments;
- Have a proven track record on:
- ISO 9001 quality management systems.;
- NCR ownership and structured root cause analysis (8D / CAPA);
- Audit preparation and compliance processes;
- Production documentation, traceability, and batch records.;
- Are a great communicator, decisive and execution-driven. You make complex quality requirements practical and workable;
- Bonus points: Experience working in Aerospace or Defense market or other highly regulated environments;
- More bonus points: Experience in product introduction or industrialization.;
- Are living in the Netherlands and available to operate from our office in Alkmaar.
