Technical marketing specialist
defining and executing marketing that clearly positions PhotonFirst
The role
- Translate complex technologies into clear and compelling messaging
- Develop high-quality technical content (case studies, whitepapers, application notes, website content)
- Support distinct value propositions for different markets (e.g. aerospace, defense, industrial, quantum)
- Manage and optimize website, SEO and digital presence (execution can be supported by external agencies)
- Set up and manage campaigns, lead flows and basic reporting (e.g. HubSpot)
- Support sales and BD with targeted sales materials for key opportunities and accounts
- Organize and manage exhibitions, conferences and technical events
- Ensure consistent positioning and branding across all channels
- Coordinate external partners (agencies, designers, freelancers) where needed
- Define and execute a clear marketing strategy aligned with business development goals across both PIC packaging and sensing
You
- Take ownership and can independently manage marketing activities end-to-end
- Are able to translate complex technical topics into clear and structured messaging
- Have experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a deep-tech environment (such as photonics or quantum)
- Understand how marketing contributes to business development and pipeline creation
- Combine hands-on execution with strategic thinking
- Have experience with content creation, campaigns and digital channels
- Are fluent in English
- Available for 24-40 hours
- Are living in The Netherlands and operate (partly) from our office in Alkmaar
